We are a welcoming and family friendly congregation devoted to one another and to the Word of God. We started as congregation of Swedish immigrants, and still hold that as a valuable part of our heritage, although we hail from a variety of backgrounds and cultures. Our Mission Statement Reads: To lift high the cross of Christ to South Minneapolis and to the world. What a unique opportunity we have to bear witness to the truth we have in God's Son Jesus . . . the truth that salvation is found in Him alone . . . the truth that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever, transforming lives . . . the truth that Lebanon exists to deliver this message.  We are Christ centered, bible focused, and mission minded. We are conforming no longer to the pattern of this world, but are being transformed by the renewing of our minds, in the hope of knowing God's will -- His good, pleasing, and perfect will.
